If  you’re thinking about jumping into podcasting, and what library isn’t, check out the Media and Technology Section newsletter of the Wisconsin Library Association. It has loads of good information on getting started, and lists these free tools to help you create a podcast: Audacity, Odeo Studio, and Gabcast.com.  Sites for finding podcasts are also listed.

Also in this issue, see the excellent presentation and handout by Kim LaPlante (Northeast Wisconsin Technical College) on RSS.  And if you’re looking for good examples of what libraries are doing with blogs, be sure to see “libraries doing good things with blogs” at the Blogging Libraries Wiki.

See the whole newsletter of the Library and Media Technology Section (WLA) here.

Ah, what a wonderful and exciting time to be a librarian!
