Google Labs, SketchUp and 3D Warehouse September 18, 2006

Heard of Google Ride Finder, Google Reader, Google Trends, Google Notebooks, Google Suggest?  Go to Google’s “Technology Playground”, or GoogleLabs  to see and play with these and other products that are in the testing phase.

Google SketchUp is ready for prime time and is a lot of fun (and useful).  The Beta version is free and can be used to create 3D models of things like sheds, houses, and decks.  After you’ve completed your 3D models, you can share, store, and search them (and others) in 3D Warehouse.  So far there is only one university library model in 3D Warehouse.  Give you any ideas?  The race is on!

And don’t forget to show these to your customers if they haven’t found them already.  Have fun!

Sharyn
