“Gateways to Dreams and Knowledge” February 10, 2007

Posted by sharynheili in Uncategorized.

Found this nice bit of Library Haiku from a New Mexico State University Library Haiku contest.  This one makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on this cold Wisconsin Winter’s eve

dust motes dance in spring
air as book flutters open-
librarian smiles

        surviving  summer
in a brimming library –
a sanctuary

autumn sun reveals
gateway to dreams and knowledge
library doorway

(David Lee Summers)

The library –a gateway to dreams and knowledge.  Ah, what a grand, glorious, and comforting thought.  Read more library haiku here.
