Most interesting!!
Sharyn Heili posted this in August 2007. She is one of the three librarians in the Wisconsin Marathon County library system who have been demoted (about February 20, 2008) because “the librarians just aren’t doing much professional work anymore.” The director explained “We’re really becoming a community center…[o]ur public has different requirements of us.”
This should cause some fascinating discussions.
