Reader’s Advisory 2.0

Check out Hennepin County Library’s newly launched, “BookSpace”.   In this reading community, customers can listen to books, share reading lists and photos, and sign up for email alerts of favorite authors.  Customers can create their own “my bookspace” and post comments and lists .  The fully developed book club pages encourage community book clubs to post their lists. RSS, blogs, and library subscription databases are seemlessly integrated.

BookSpace, uses social software to give book lovers what they want—a place to discuss what they are reading, comment on other people’s reading, hear about good books other folks like, and be a valued member of a reading community—a Reader’s Heaven!  Bravo Hennepin County!  Readers Advisory 2.0.  See it here.
